If DVC increases the price point to $89, I wonder how soon the resale prices will go up, and they usually increase the buy back price eventually.

Based on what brokers had told me, usually the resales do really well before the price increase kicks in. I guess we can watch the inventory changes on Jaki's and TSS's website to see how the changes afftect resales.

It is amazing to see how fast the price increases. Last June when I bought my BCV points, I paid $70 and now it is $84, already a 20% increase, while the points are going to $89. How much longer can this continue?!!!

Remember, speculation is that the SSR may have a longer end date like 2054 so there may be no bump or even a drop on the 2042 contracts

Thanks

I think it will all depend on what DVC does with ROFR.

If they continue to support resale prices by raising ROFR, then SSR will have no effect on resales (except to continue to rise).

If DVC does offer to extend the 2042 date for older resorts, then ROFR will likely continue as in the past.

Stay Tuned!
