Wondering about Martha's Vineyard

I have done some searching here and have found some good reviews of drinks at Marth's Vineyard (lounge at the Beach Club). However, I am wondering if anyone here has had some appetizers and drinks at Martha's and if anyone has brought their children there, as well. My son is 13.5 and he loves buffalo wings and I see they serve buffalo tenders and thought we might go there one night early, when it opens. Hoping some of you have experienced Martha Vineyard for appetizers and could share your opinions.Thanks. We are staying at BCV so I thought this might be good on a day we stay at the pool, grab an appetizer type " dinner" and then head to a park.

While I havent eaten there, I highly recommend the Oreo Mintini.
We brought our kids there when we stopped in for a drink while we waited for a table at Baeches & Cream. Like most of the resort lounges, kids seemed to be more than welcome.

Thanks for the very quick response. That drink sounds interesting. Believe it or not, this in our sons 6th trip to DW and I do not think we have ever really went to any lounges there. Yet, dh and I do like an occasional drink at night, especially on vacation! I guess we have usually had one with dinner or something in the room.

My sister and I went there two weeks ago. We had dropped my nephew in the kid's club for 3 hours of "kid time" and we went for a cosmo. The place was nearly deserted. There were two people sitting at the bar, and one family with young children sitting at one of the tables. They didn't seem out of place at all. And they were young, like 4 and 6.
