I was thinking of going to WDW in December next year, because I'd really like to see all of the Christmas decorations. I've only been there once and it was the week after Labor Day, the parks were completely dead, and I really enjoyed the lack of crowds. So, now I'm wondering if the first week in December is slow, or should I stick with going back in September. Thanks! I appreciate you help.

Early December is not too bad, but it will most likely seem crowded to you if your only experience is in September.

September is probably the least crowded time at WDW.

We love to go in early December. It is great to see all the Christmas decorations and shows, and the weather is usually perfect for us. The crowds are not too bad, especially if you use TGM! We never had to wait for anything, although the wait boards showed pretty big waits later in the days. Have a great trip. princess:

We went the week after Thanksgiving. The lack of crowds was great !!We really enjoyed being able to walk onto rides with no wait. Our longest wait was probably 5-10 minutes. :woohoo: PLUS, all the decorations are up and the world is just beautiful. The only thing to remember, is that if you're flying, the Monday after Thanksgiving is still considered part of the holiday, and no amount of pixie dust will find you a good price on a flight.
