Hi,

I am new to the board. I was told, by the staff at Disney, that they read this board and talk about it a lot. So, I wanted to tell about a wonderful experience I had at Le Cellier.

Firstly, let me say that I am not a Disney newbie. We have been 10X since 2000. We were AP's in 2002 and again, this past year.

Having been at Disney a lot, we have eaten there quite a bit, so we have our favorite places. One of them is Le Cellier. Several years ago, we dined there and had a wonderful waiter, by the name of "MO" (Mohammed). We have not had him since, because he had either been off or busy. The manager told me that he is the lone career waiter on staff and that the rest are interns.

Anyway, we had an intern from Winnepeg, last week (Christmas Week). His name is Christopher McGillis. He told me that his friend reads the boards, so he'll hear about this cudo! I thanked him for his wonderful demeanor, fine service and kindness, as well as speaking to his manager on the way out. Chris said that he had never done this type of job before, much less even go to a restaurant of that quality, before (Sorry, Chris, if that was information you didn't want spread over the internet! ;) ) This surprised me, because he is a natural. (Having been a waiter in a fine restaurant, I know what a good one is! Thank God, I am not one anymore!.... Hard job)

Without droning on and on, suffice it to say that Chris is one of the finest waiters I have ever had in my LIFE! :earboy2:

Just to remind Chris, we were the table which had my son's birthday. You said that you can't sing, so you just put the cake down and wished him happy birthday.... c'mon Chris! Let that ol' voice out! After all, you're at Disney World! You might get discovered! ;) Thanks again!

We had Charlotte when we ate there in June...it was our anniversary and she was wonderful! She brought out a slice of cake with "happy anniversary" written on the plate and a Magical Moments certificate signed by the servers at Le Cellier...fabulous!
