Do you have an issue with seasickness?

No. We took the Disney cruise to Alaska in June 2012 and didn't have a problem. But, we will have more time in the open sea for this cruise. I did manage to get prescription patches from our dr.--just in case the weather turns sour!!!

Myself (Jo), DH Ryan, and DD Claire (5) will be joining this cruise. We are traveling from Vancouver, Canada. This will be our 5th Disney cruise, all on the Wonder. We got the cruise document yesterday and can't wait for Sep 12 to come. Wow, this group is very active, I have lots to read. Anybody travelling with young kids? My daughter (5) is looking forward to make new friends on the big boat (that what's she calls the disney cruises). We are looking forward to the cruise and making new friends.

DH has a pirate costume but he doesn't know if he will bring it. On other cruises there haven't been many dressing up. I am thinking of getting one. Will there be many dressing up?

Mother and I will be dolled up style. Like I posted on FB, Captain Hook may never be the same after meeting my mother! Our hats came that we ordered to go with our costumes. I can hardly wait until September!

I had to have my wellness physical for the upcoming health insurance enrollment so asked my doc for a couple of valiums to take for the flights and scopolamine patch's. I don't usually have an issue with seasickness but I've never sailed in the Pacific ocean and I want to make sure that I'm covered.

This weekend has been a blast! Took my daughter to see Bianca del Rio last night at a local club and had an amazing time meeting her. She is even more gorgeous in person than she appeared to be on Drag Race, and prior to that I spend 4 1/2 hours at a fantasy football draft. I'm hoping to have a good season this year. Does anybody else play? My man friend will be in charge of my players the 2 weeks I'm having the time of my life with all you people!

Hi Jo we are travelling with our 5yr old daughter Bethany who can't wait to play with other kids she looks forward to playing with your daughter.

We are bringing our almost 4 year old Arianna. She will be 2 months short of 4. She is looking forward to making lots of new friends in the kids club.

I suggest you do not wear the patch for more than 3 days - side effects can be rough (temporary blindness!)

About 2 years ago Donna and I were over at Downtown Disney doing some shopping for birthdays. We were in the main Disney Store and we happened to walk thru the men's section. I wasn't looking for anything in particular I just wanted to look around. And, then there it was.................a beacon of light illuminated this great Disney tie. It was just like in the movies when all of a sudden this tie just shown with a beautiful light. (Donna swears up and down it was just a spot light in the ceiling shining on the display of men's clothes!!) But it was beautiful, and I knew then and there I had to have it. I was going to bring it with me to wear on the cruise. But I couldn't find it anywhere. I've been looking, tearing up the house for 3 days now. So, this morning I begin my search again..............no luck. I email Donna at work and ask her if she has any ideas. She said she would help me look when she gets home. So we are looking.................I'm in one bedroom................she in another........................when all of a sudden she yells..........................found it!!! She said there was this beacon of light that just shown.....................well you can see where this is going, can't you. (I think she hid the darn thing from me just so she could find it!! Guys you know they do this sort of thing all of the time...................hid things from us!!!) So to make a long story longer................I'm bringing the tie.

I was just going to bed when I caught the news headlines and was so shocked and saddened to hear Robin Williams has been found dead. I loved him in Aladdin and Mrs Doubtfire especially, but a great actor. RIP

I think you are right. Just got back from camping with the grandchildren, which we do every year. Lots of fun for all. I was only able to catch up with DIS board today. I also checked the times for the train, we are on the same train, just boarding at a different station, business class also. See you in four weeks

but I really don't think Donna hid it on you...most likely you put it away. I seem to think that some items of clothing will hide on their own - happens to me all the time.

our documents made it 'across the pond' and arrived Thursday so we really are coming, yay!! Now I need you guys help with some gift ideas, sorry this might be a bit long...... While we are in SD we are meeting up (very briefly) with a penfriend of mine that I started writing to in the late 70's but had lost contact with for over 10 years and recently back in contact. We don't really 'know' each other these days but I would love to bring her and her family (DH and 2 sons 11 and 8) some British/English gifts and that's where I'd like your input- any ideas other than copious amounts of chocolate (she did say they like it). Thanks in advance, I'm pretty useless at gift ideas I'm afraid.

I have friends in England and I like to receive some sweet biscuits. Made from butter and melt in your mouth. Yum

We happened on a hour and a half video on utube of him doing a comic routine. He was brilliant. I have loved him in all of his movies, he was a fantastic guy

Cracker Jacks only has paper items (booklets, etc) anymore. They just don't want kids having fun anymore. Some kids probably choked on something so it had to change for all : (

Haven't had a box of Cracker Jacks in years. Like you said some lawyer saw the liability it the toys so they got rid of them. It's amazing that we ever survived our childhood with all the dangers that were around.
