Wonderful Panama Canal Sept 2014

What is our face book page, and so funny for princess night. Where did ups get the shirt?
I got the shirt from Teefury a few days ago. Threadless has the same shirt only it's in bright green--- things I've learned from my sister's wedding: while green promotes creativity I look horrible in it.

Good news! It's been confirmed that MNSSHP will be on Fri 26th Sept and tickets go on sale Monday so plan is going well so far!
where did you find this out? We have been watching and waiting for the announcement - already have our costumes planned!!

Kind of off-cruise topic; with the "free dining" in the fall , I'm guessing if we're renting DVC points and have an AP we aren't eligible? I tried calling today -on two lines- and either got a busy signal or 'all circuits are busy' message.
You are not eligilble - even renting DVC since Disney doesn't recognize you as a "renter" technically you are being the guest of a DVC member - since you get the free parking at the parks, and some of the discounts - you are not able to get free dining. Sorry!!

Pooh & Tinker - I figured out which cruise - I added you to the FB page.

Again - please - folks if you want to be added to the FB page - PM me your email address that is attached to FB - and most importantly - please please tell me WHICH cruise you are on - I am doing the FB page for 2 cruises!!!

It depends on when pirate night is because if it is on the day we are in cartagena in going to try and get a palo dinner

Pirate Night is night 10…Cartagena.

that's a bit disappointing as we like to dress up for Pirate night dinner and we are on early / main so gonna be a bit of a rush after being ashore - would rather they had it on a sea day.

somewhere back in this thread I'm sure I read that there probably wouldn't be a Golden Mickey's show on board but I recently read a thread that the Wonder was still doing this show in the last month or so - really hope so as we have never seen it and even on our recent trip to HKDL it was down for refurb so missed it there too!

We just saw Aladdin on Broadway this past week. If anyone is in the NYC area, you should go see this show. "Friend Like Me" is an absolute showstopper!! :dance3:
The same night we went and saw Les Miserables with Ramin Karimloo as Jean Val Jean....unbelievable!!!! Ramin's rendition of Bring Him Home was the best I've ever heard. What a thrill it was afterwards to meet him in person.

I heard rumble of the 2015 itinary so I called and they are booking, but at what price... Holy mollie but I booked it anyway. So the seniors are off to the Magic once again. Has any one booked on the this cruise? Enough now no more.

We are on that sailing!

WOW!!!! I just went onto the DCL website to check on something. Had to enter my birthdate to login. You know your are getting old when the year of your birth is more then half way down on the drop down box!!! (For a minute there I thought it might not even SHOW UP!!!):lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

We are thinking of doing the WBTA in 2015, bringing the Magic back home. Whenever Disney announces that itinerary. We have so many different ideas, but no definite plans as yet. :confused3

We are booked on this as well!! Lots of us are, I think! :wave2:

I just talked to DCL about the schedule of nights.....right now, the schedule shows the second night TBD, the 10th night (Cartagena) as Pirate Night and the 12th night (23rd) as Formal. A little different. All the rest show cruise casual. Will be interested to see if this holds. Last time through the canal, we had two semi-formal nights and a formal night.

Oh, and under the ship's activities 'card', it shows the Golden Mickey's. Just not what day...isn't that usually Formal night? :confused3

I saw somewhere too that we have 2 "Formal Nights" and 1 "Semi-Formal Night" Stephanie. Don't remember where I saw this. (The mind is a terrible thing to waste, must be a senior moment!!! Can't seem to remember anything any more. What were we talking about??!?) Seriously, I did see somewhere 2 Formal Nights & 1 Semi-Formal Night.

I think you are right, the Golden Mickey's is usually shown on a Formal Night - from what I can remember (which isn't much these days!!!):confused3

I know, David, that is what we had on our last EBPC. I hope they nail it down so we know what to pack! LOL! I remember because Dave wore his tux with a bow tie and cumberbund on one formal night and the vest and tie on the other.
I'm sort of wondering if there were too many complaints? :confused3
Some people do not like to dress up. That is why cruise casual has REALLY become casual!
