Our first two cruises were with portholes. I think you'll like it just fine! And 2510 is one of the rooms that is in the ship's curve, so it should have a few extra feet of space.
My kids were small enough to be able to sit/lay in the porthole window on the Wonder. Even my husband can perch up there!
