Good morning everyone! 25 days for our cruise!! YAY!! does anyone have any idea what the weather will be like? I know I can check on the weather channel, but I guess what i'm really asking is "what is everyone packing'?
I was looking at the long term weather report. It shows thunder storms on the day we depart. This will be our 4th Disney Cruise and on all of them the fare well deck parties are so much fun. I was just wondering are the thunder storms bad there? I hope they don't cancel the partyWell after having one of the hottest summers on record here in Vancouver the weather has now changed and it's very much like Fall. Hopefully it will still be sunny the day we sail away but I would pack some rain coats just in case! On board I suspect it will be quite chilly until we get further down the coast. Just crossing my fingers for calm seas![]()

Thank you! that's good to hear. Just hoping for good weather.I can't beleive it's just 20 day's away.I wouldn't pay any attention to that forecast. We rarely get thunderstorms in the Vancouver area. We've had the hottest summer I can ever remember and we didn't have one thunderstorm.
I'd say the chances of a thunderstorm that afternoon are probably less than 1%. However, the chance of actual rain (no thunder or lightening), well unfortunately yes there is a large chance that day will have rain. So it could be a soggy sail away party. But the forecast around here changes so much. This weekend, for example - Saturday was supposed to be the only nice day of the weekend, Sunday and Monday rain. Nope, sunshine today as well and now they've changed it to sun for tomorrow. So the saying "don't like the weather wait 5 minutes" very much applies to Vancouver!

thanks for the tip. I'm sure regardless of the weather, we are going to have a blast. I am officially on Disney mode and I don't want to work anymore! lol
