Not to be a downer here...but on our 6/22 cruise we did NOT have a good server at Palo. His name was Justin and he was as sweet and cute as could be. He was just not up to the Palo standard that we have come to expect. We were both wearing black pants at both dinner and brunch and while he quickly removed our white napkins, he forgot to bring us black ones. We had to ask at both dinner AND brunch. He also neglected to re-fill water glasses on more than one occasion (which is a major pet peeve of mine, having several friends who are servers at WDW who say that they are trained to re-fill a drink when it gets to be about 1/2 full). There were also lots of little things that he neglected to do, like remove crumbs from the table, and re-fold a napkin when one of us got up from the table. While these are really picky little things, they are things that are done at Palo at every meal and were being done at tables all around us. He also paid attention to several of his tables more than others. It was very odd. As we had some issues with other things, and were already working with Guest Services to resolve them, I did mention it to Guest Services, who then put me in touch with the Palo manager. I don't complain to get things, just to make sure that others know that things are not up to standard, and for our two meals at Palo on this trip our server most definitely was not.
