Wonder - January 21, 2011 The Cruise To Nowhere In Particular..

IS there a reason that I have TOTAL appathy for any work that needs to be done today???

Oh yes ---- I'm going on a cruise - A Disney cruise ---- I need to get my Mickey Mojo on - nevermind about this work nonsense :lmao::lmao::lmao:

Thanks for the tipping info...my DH hates the way I tip!

He thinks we could make an extra house payment with the over tipping I do! :confused3

Coming from a person who once made their living from tips, we appreciate you. I'd have never gotten through college otherwise.

I have my Cruise to Neverland door sign, and my sorcerer Mickey hat/ears printed out and laminated. Just have to attach the magnets to the back. That's the extent of the effort I've put out at work today :cool1:

I've found this as a fun excuse for some new clothes today :) I'm part of the overly anxious crowd. My little guy keeps asking if it's time yet. I think we'll go out and look for more FE goodies after school. This weather is so perfect, I wish we were out there right now.

I just added $100.00 to our groups' OBC. It seems that when your entire cruise is booked with the Disney Visa, you are eligible for an OBC of $50.00. The only thing is is that you can't get that OBC and the OBC for booking onboard.

The reason I forgot about this extra OBC is that all of our other recent cruises have been the result of onboard bookings. This one I booked online. So, we get that $25.00 OBC plus the Disney Visa OBC. That's a total of $150.00 for our group of 4.

So, with tipping ($96.00) and possibly Palo for three ($60.00), that's $156.00. Plus, we have all of those extra Disney Visa reward dollars. We won't have any out of pocket expense unless we go wild with drinks, which I don't see happening. YIPPEEE!!!!

I can't get in the work mode either, but have so much to do. Well at least I will have all next week to get year end reconciled for the CPA on the 31st.

And cant wait to see you Nana.:lovestruc

that's a good idea. Weather nice here too. I'll look about for goodies for the trip and I need to make some Surprise Door Magnets for my friend.

I just love tipping....he doesn't know HALF of my tipping habit :) It would be 4 house payments...... :rotfl::woohoo:
:rotfl2:

Nice! Yep I took advantage of the Disney Visa and online OBC's too. We'll be set for this cruise. Unless my wife makes me buy one of those Dooney & Bourke purses.

She'll have to beat me to it. That's where I will be at 6pm sharp.

Palo Brunch and Dinner Reservations are available right now.

Dang...got to focus...I am going to book a MR on board...the site was down earlier...have to get my dates together :cool1:

It's hard to focus...I've got the suitcases out :)

What time is everyone planning on getting to the port?

Do you guys think it'll be a long wait to board after such a long cruise before ours??

We are leaving here at about 6am, I want to get to the ship about 3. No earlier than 2:30. It won't take much more time to disembark the passengers, there may be more luggage, but people getting on and people getting off don't usually meet at the terminals.

Sorry, but I meant would it take longer to clean the ship and prepare for the new passengers after being away for 2 weeks?

We can't leave for the port until 12:30.
My son has finals and instead of having him make up the one at 10 AM, we're just going to wait outside his school and leave from there. It's probably about an hour to the port but I'm going to be a nervous wreck hoping for no traffic.
I wanted to get on board as quickly as possible so I can soak up all the Disney magic for as long as possible.

I'll be there too :)
I've been waiting to buy the DCL Dooney :)

Jill, I can't believe that with your collection you haven't gotten a DCL one yet! But then again, I do remember you saying you haven't been on a ship in a while.

Good luck all you Dooney girls. I will be watching the melee from the sidelines. It surely can't be as bad as the Transatlantic this year when we were taunted by the bags for 6 days before they finally put them on sale. It was a feeding frenzy. Ladies were coming away from the display with 4 and 5 on each arm.

I think we'll be leaving Anaheim at about 10am to avoid traffic. I estimate we'll be at the port at about 11am
