I've always wanted to take a cruise and never had the chance. Almost did it last year and even booked it. The my mother and my kids decided they would rather go to Universal and other non Disney places since we went to Disney before. They also thought they'd have more fun on that than on a cruise.
Ever since then my daughter would see me reviewing this board and reciving info in the mail on the cruise line. "You really want to go on that cruise don't you" she'd keep saying to me. I told her I really wanted to. It looked and sounded like alot of fun.
My daughter was didn't want to cruise ever since seeing the Titanic movie and watching it sink. She always was concerned about if it sank how would we get away from the sharks. I think she watches too many movies and has a very active imagination.
My daughter happened to look through the cruise line packet I received in the mail and lo and behold. She said it looks like fun and she thinks she would like to go on it.
So now I have someone to go with me. YEAH!!!! I'm planning it for sometime next year. Have to work around the school schedules. Not sure if my son will go as he doesn't like the thought of dressing for dinner. He likes to only wear his rock band Tshirts and army fatigue pants. And I really don't want to spend the money on him to just stay in the room and have room service each night.
So I get to finally have my Disney Cruise - either with just my daughter and I, which would be fun, or with both kids, which will be fun if he decides to participate in the dining and activities. I'll have him read through the passporter I bought so he can make a decision on whether or not he really wants to go. He's at the age now (15) where any time you asked him if he wants to do anything, its "Fine".
