Good luck, Bad Luck, or coincidence. We sailed on the magic in April 3 weeks after her dry dock in Nassau. Now we have booked for the EBPC 11/2019 and I see the Wonder is going to be in Dry dock shortly before. Any "rumors" as to what is being done?.
we lucked out on on the Magic as they added Rapunzels restaurant. just wondering trying to pass time until we sail. A bad day at sea (Disney) is better than a day at work

I love the Wonder! The Magic was my favorite for many years since we first sailed her in '99, but having spent so much time on the Wonder the last 6 or 7 years, she has become my favorite. I have not cruised on the Wonder since her big re-do. I would imagine this dry dock will be mostly routine dry dock stuff (required) since she had the $200 million dollar re-do a few years ago. :cutie:

Since it's 14 days from her last cruise to the next cruise I'd say it's a inspection and update cruise. Basically they'll do the required inspections and update anything that's scheduled at the end of its life like tile, carpet, power distribution etc. I wouldnt expect anything major out of this one. Didnt the Wonder just get Tianas where Parrot Cay was?

I second Vanellope's and would be really excited if they added magic portholes. I would be surprised if they added either but one can hope. While we are tossing coins in the wishing well I also would love a "Minnie" golf course. Wishes aside, I think southerngirl528 is right it will probably be just some routine/required maintenance and freshening up with no major changes.

New beds? My wife says she thinks she saw beignets on the menu at Tiana's? Like from the bakery at Downtown Disney?

certain things they can drop in at a moment's notice, like menu changes, show changes, even bedding. Unless theres something specific that the ship would need I doubt they'll wait for a drydock ro do it. Like for example an industrial steamer for meals. Something like that may need a hole cut in the side of the ship to add so that would be a drydock item. On the other hand something like beignets is more of a menu change they could add when ever they wanted.

Since the Wonder spends so much time in Alaska, perhaps a "Brother Bear" or Bear Necessities dining room is in order.

I wish there was space to add Vanellope's! Just pictures of all that gelato makes me drool...

It's a year since I sailed on the Wonder so I can't remember, does it have the old Radio Station space like the Magic? It seems to be dead space that never gets used these days, that's an area where they could add something. The main detractor would be the fact it is indoors rather than on the open deck.

Wonder just came out of an extensive dry dock. Been on her twice since then and she is looking great. They can (and do) a lot of things during sailings. It's pretty amazing what they can do in s a short dry dock, but I can't imagine then replacing Triton's. It's Ariel in the lobby after all.

It's almost never a bad thing to get on a ship after dry dock, but you may notice quite a bit of minor maintenance work being done. On our WBPC, they were pulling outdoor benches and cabinets and refinishing them, one at a time. Need to keep them looking great!

I'm guessing it will be minor items that just can't be done while the ship is full of passengers. Things like carpeting, updating systems, etc.

I wish they would add back in the "duty free" shop like they used to have onboard. The small bookshelf area they now have behind the cashier station is pathetic.

Seriously doubt that they will redo Tiana’s which everyone seems to adore. And Animator’s Palate is kind of their signature. And each ship has a more “formal feel” MDR. So I doubt it.

Maybe on one of the new ships if they’re planning to have 2 in Alaska?
