Just booked the 9 night 2017 Alaska cruise. Deck 2 staterooms were full so had to book a 9D oceanview on deck 1. Would love to hear from anyone that's stayed in one of the cabins in that area.

Thanks,

Back in Feb., 2003 we cruised on the Wonder and stayed in Cabin #1030 on Deck 1. Can't remember the actual size of the room but I do remember
it only had one bathroom - not the split ones above. Also remember it had two small portholes to look out. Very quiet area except for when
it came into port and you could hear the gangway being set up, etc. so really was not a bother for us. A doorway right across from ours led to the Deck 1 gangway area along with the Forward elevators/stairs so was very convenient.

We actually spent very little time in the room as you probably will as well so just enjoy the important thing - you'll be on a most wonderful Disney cruise!

Bon Voyage.

We stayed on deck 1 for our Alaskan Cruise in 2013, no problems and enjoyed the location. Easy access and with so few staterooms very low traffic. A few of the evening entertainers were in our area so we did get to visit with them in passing as they were on for the duration of our cruise.

We had that on deck 5 on the wonder once. Most of the entertainers were in rooms around us.

you should also check back right before final payment, as someone might canx and you can switch.

I didn't know that the 9D rooms didn't have the split bath. I thought that was only the inside standard rooms. The website says "A "split bath": a bathroom with a vanity, sink, shower and tub and a half bathroom with a vanity, sink and toilet (in all but accessible staterooms)." for the room description.
