Hi, Just booked this cruise last night! Yay! This will be our second DCL, the first was on the Fantasy last year to the Bahamas/West Indies... Would love to join a FE group, and get more info from the veteran Alaska cruisers. It will be me and my two sons 13 and 11. Have a magical day!!

FE group grew large enough to justify a third group AND A FOURTH! Holy Schmoly! I've designated the third "Donald" and the 4th "Pluto." If you want to participate in the third and/or fourth groups, please let me know.

I will be limiting each group to 11 staterooms, and AIMING for an equal (or close to it) number of individual people in each group for those making personal gifts instead of room gifts. I'm holding off on group assignments until I know who wants to participate in how many. If you haven't responded in a few days, I will default you to one group and randomly assign you.

The initial count looks like this:

Total (current) number of staterooms participating: 29
Total people: 93
Average people per stateroom: 4 (3.2, technically)

ON AVERAGE, each group will have 11 staterooms with 44 individual people in it. This WILL fluctuate slightly as it is a rounded-up estimate because I know I'd rather have too much than not enough to go around.

Please let me know what your "participation level" (how many groups you'd like to join) will be asap if it is different from what I have indicated, or if you want to be in a specific group, stay in a group with certain people, be in a different group than others, etc. I know several said they wanted to only be in the first two (Mickey and Goofy), so it that's still true, can you please ping me again?


When the time comes, I will create and print FE Maps, so you know where you're delivering your items. I will hand them out at the Meet & Greet, and have them available in my Stateroom after the Sail Away party. I'll have a dry erase board on our Stateroom door with my Wave Phone number so you can contact me, and any FE updates, last minute changes, etc.

FE organizers generally need to know how many people (adults/children) are participating in each cabin. Other information you would like to share such as first names, ages of child participants, allergies, favorite characters, etc. is up to you. Other personal information is not really necessary. Those organizing FEs typically ask for the information to be posted in the meet thread or sent to them via PM.

For those posting in this Cruise Meet thread to join a FE, since no one has posted since 2/22/15 about a FE for this cruise here on the DIS, please feel free to start the FE right in this thread.

There is certainly still plenty of time to plan a FE for this cruise and already a great core group to put this together yourselves. All it takes is for someone to maintain a list of/for those participating which can easily be done in this thread. Cruise Meet threads have been doing it this way for years now here on the DIS. If anyone is interested in doing this, feel free to contact me for some suggestions.

Thank you again for taking over this FE Group!! Again, let me know if I can be of any help. This is our first FE so I dont know much about how it all works, but I do love lists and excel!!

We currently have 2 cabins in our group that would like to participate:

*The first cabin is 6047 and participants in this cabin are:
Myself (Jocelyn), DH (who will celebrating his Birthday on 06/16), DD (5 yrs) - we are celebrating her graduation from Pre-School and entrance into Kindergarten and DS (2 yrs)

**The second cabin is 6083 and participants in this cabin are:
Mom (sister in law) & DD (5 yrs) also celebrating her graduation from Pre-School!!

Each cabin would like to participate in any ONE of the groups for this cruise.
All participants: no allergies and this is our first DCL cruise!!

This is our first Fish Extender experience so I apologize in advance if I have questions . My one suggestions: I think in an effort to allow people time to prepare their gifts we should decide on a close-off date for the sign-ups so that groups can be officially put together and assigned by a specific date.
