Wonder 2022 Hawaii cruise reports?

I was referring to flying back to the US from Hawaii you’re staying within US no testing. If you’re taking the sailing back to Vancouver then yes you have to deal with testing to get back into the US if you’re flying


That I only heard from one person. I take it as a 99.9% rumor as I heard in our FB group that people were denied. My point was it’s just crazy and how many different types of rumors go around the ship

I am hoping for clarification from Disney soon (or for the US to drop return testing).

I am hoping they'd drop the testing for entering the US too, would like to have a little less stress (self-induced I know but still rather avoid it )

That didn’t happen unless I totally missed it. I don’t recall seeing it in the navigator too. No Lin trading either

The DCL rep told me we have to test if we are flying back to the US from Canada. Those driving or taking the train are ok, but flying back to the US means testing from what I understood. Would be great news if this is not true!

You have to test if flying back to the US from Canada. as the pp is flying back to the US from Hawaii it is considered domestic and does not require testing.

They had the Captain’s Reception on the May 16th Alaska sailing

it was actually Captain Damir we had but he was getting off at the end of the sailing & Captain Fabian was taking over so you’ll have him for your cruise

I'm just barely starting my trip report from the Hawaii to Vancouver cruise and 1st Alaska cruise of 2022. Under the trip reports, but I haven't had a chance to really get into it yet.

So May 6-16 we had captain Fabian.

Port adventures were a hit/miss depending on what you picked. Some of them didn't even match the itinerary so going forward make sure if you book a DCL excursion you screenshot or print out what the itinerary should include. They also made up some bs excuse of why the itinerary changed to match "group demographics" so I called DCL to blast them because I was deeply offended and so were others on that as a reason why the itinerary was changed. They were able to compensate but only if you complain.

If Hawaii is offered again, it would be better to do the other sailing. This sailing kept springing forward every other day when we were at sea so we were losing time.

We did have a sail and wave party, pirate, and frozen deck party. Fireworks were not on pirate day. They did bring back the complimentary drinks on formal night for guests.

The app was having issues. It basically didn't have correct schedule of events nor would it list which characters were being seen. You had to keep asking crew members.

Before doing the picture challenge of the day, find out if it's only 1 grand prize winner each day before you waste your time going about all over the ship.

Sailing in concierge you were able to get free popcorn for each show. In addition, were let in 30 minutes before the main broadway/entertainment show to grab seats before anyone else entered theater.
They were selling cinderella and simba popcorn buckets.

Hawaii Merchandise not that good of a selection. The only thing that sold out were the long white sleeves Hawaii shirt on it. So I expect a lot of the merchandise will go to either cast connections or outlets of what remained ie: orange t-shirts, pins, cups, and ornament.
