Well it's official, I'm going on this cruise! Final payment was made yesterday!

Since, this is our first cruise we had to wait until today to book anything. I was a little worried that Palo would not be available. So much for that. With the exception of one seating time on the first day every other day and time was still there. We will be there on the second day at 7:30. Anyone else joining us?

Received our passports today. Time to fill out the forms.

We were waiting for DD to turn 16. Plans were to go that day or Sat to get her Passport. Guess What I forgot all about it. Thank goodness you posted this I think I still have time if I take her this Saturday.

Glad I could help. You should still have time. I submitted everything on 7/19 and got it back on 8/19. If you get the same turn around time you will have a month to spare.

Hi everyone! This is a quiet thread, so hopefully it will heat up as we get closer to sailing. I actually booked this cruise a few months ago and am just getting on her to join the thread. It will be myself, DH, and our 14 year old DS who has no idea he is going to be spending his fall break on the ship. It will be his 3rd cruise, my DH's 9th cruise, and my 10th! So looking forward to that Platinum level! This is my 3rd short cruise, as we definitely prefer the 7 nights but can't squeeze it in. Looking forward to enjoying a little R and R aboard the Wonder!

Hello Everyone!!! My hubby and I just booked this cruise last night. Yay!!!

Does anyone know if there is a group doing Fish Extenders for our cruise? I've never done them before but have seen them on the ship and would love to participate this time around.

I'm Jessi. My husband Patrick, daughter Lillian (two) , mother Jill, and brother Kam and I are setting sail for this cruise! We are so excited. I've never been on a cruise before and I a disney fanatic so I knew our first had to be Disney! Lil is really looking forward to it and so are we.

Is anyone else using the transfers from the hotel to the port? This is our first cruise and we bought transfers rather than worry about finding the port. My questions is do I receive the transfers in the mail or does it get left by DCL at the hotel for me when we check in?



Also, this is the first time in a very long time that we aren't renting a car. When can I expect to see the tags for Magical express?

I'm ready to go now!!! It seems more real after final payment, doesn't it? How close to sailing do they mail you docs and tags? Or do they not mail hard copies of the docs anymore like RCI...they've gone to e-docs and mail luggage tags only.

On our last cruise in Feb. we received our documents via FEDEX about 3 weeks before sailing. It contains all of the cruise documents and information needed at the port. If you fill out your documents online you must print them out to hand in at the port. If not you must fill out the documents inclosed in your booklet to hand in. If you have purchased transfers there will be a page stating you have them. If you are like me and usually wait until a couple of weeks before traveling to pay for the transfers DCL will still have that information in their data base it just won't be included in the travel documents. If you purchase transfers for after the cruise it will be stated on your stateroom keycard and you will just show that card to the castmembers in charge of loading the buses. DCL makes it extremely easy and convenient so you won't have to worry about not getting to where you need to be. The hardest thing you will have to do is pack!

Thanks for the info...I'll be driving to the port, we live only 45 minutes away. I have already filled out my online info, I know from experience with other cruise lines it makes check in time lots easier.

We received our docs and DME paperwork yesterday. Unfortunately, they came in the regular mail which my son got to before me. We are trying really hard to surprise him with this trip, but DCL isn't making it easy! I tried to cover, but since the envelope stated in great big letters cruise documents I doubt I was very successful. Well, at least he doesn't know exactly when we are sailing since we received them earlier than we ever have before.
