Won Disney tickets in silent auction

Yesterday we went to the school Spring Fling where my daughter works. They had 4 one park hoppers in the silent auction. Happy to say we won these for 170.00! We have a trip planned in December to Universal and wondered if we could fit in one Disney day. Problem SOLVED!

A quick question comes to mind. Tickets like this are sometimes given out as Comp tickets, or at Time-share presentations, or as student Youth Education Series (YES) tickets. There are also Convention tickets for entry only after a certain time of the day. Tickets like these may have an expiration date printed on the back side. Please check this, for your peace of mind. Also, they probably can't be upgraded to add days, but you only need a single day.

Disney will offer up to 4 One Day PH passes for purposes of an Auction (silent or live). They generally expire in about 18 months to 2 years from the date Disney issued them to the organization. They are not able to be upgraded.

Our school has been the recipient before of these tickets directly from Disney.

Cast members (including TDS) get some of these tickets as well, and if they do not live near the parks, or have a trip planned, they may donate them to a charity auction.

They also have an expiration date, up to 2 years.

It was stated in the letter that they are good for 2 years. I was concerned also but looked at them before I bid.

We recently won these as well. Sold them on eBay for $450 and put them towards regular park tickets since we were going for 7 days.
