So, so I THOUGHT I lost about 3-4 lbs so far this month. I was really gung ho earlier this month but I have been slacking a little this week at keeping to 1200 calories. I NEVER went over 2000 calories (and that was only two days) though, and according to the google calculator with my exercise level I need 2000-2200 calories, so I should be ok. I should be always in weight loss mode, if nothing else weight maintain mode. Not weight GAIN mode, ugh.

So the only thing I can think of for gaining a lb in a few days (I don't weigh daily) is my cycle. When are you suposed to be heavier in your cycle? I thought it was a week before your period, but I am not in the week before my period. Ugh. My period isn't due for about 2 weeks or so.

I am thinking the weight loss I saw before was just normal fluctuations and I didn't lose 3-4 lbs after all. :scared: How discouraging. So..maybe I lost a 2-3 lbs.

I understand what you are talking bout :grouphug: from expierence I know that 2 weeks before hand is when I seem to bloat up:sad:

Oh, thanks! You made me feel better!

While I was racking my brain trying to figure out where I went wrong, I also realized I have been munching on pickles like crazy for the crunch. They are an awesome snack calorie wise..only 5 calories, yay! But sodium wise they are very, very bad. I didn't even think about it till I got on the scale. Talk about bloat city!!! I never would have other wise noticed if I wasn't dieting and weighing myself every few days.

Unfortunatly for me i don't even have to weigh myself. I just feel my pooch getting rounder :rotfl2:

I think it is likely different for every woman.

On another note, I don't think I would trust Google for telling you what your calorie range should be. I run about 25 miles a week, and cross train the rest. I exercise ALL THE TIME. And if I want to be in weight loss mode, I stick to 1200-1500 calories max. 2000 + sounds really, really high to me. Just an FYI. I would suggest meeting with a trainer who specializes in nutrition and get a personal assessment.
