we dont use the pools much if at all.....we do alot of mono meals. and plan 2 days at MK and 2 at EPcot. 1 at HS and AKL for boma breakfast then AK for a day.

I do like a little peace and relax certain times of the day....Rooms are bigger at CR for 4 adults???


The big downer is that Cali grill will be closed...

Heard the options for transpo make for easy access to almost anything to do with parks and resorts. TTC being close and boats to WL, mono, walk to MK, buses shared but CR is first stop.......these are big pluses added to room size.

also is boardwalk area "happening" or is it boring after 1 night.... i know DTD is kinda lame. EPCOT WS doesnt stay open late for eveings after a late dinner. MK has alot of extra late hrs......

We were actually in the same situation. We were booked at WL for the week and for a few more dollars we changed to YC. The main reason why was for Storm Along Bay. We LOVE LOVE Wilderness Lodge, but we felt that it is more of a "winter" place. We made the move to YC bc of the pool, we are going in Aug/Sept and will use the pool often. Also Epcot is one of my favorite parks, especially for the food. We have tons of ADR's at Epcot and it will be so nice to be able to walk there from our resort!!

thats something i needed to ask prob over on dining. but we already have a 1 night only at PORFQ because of late flight. no need for tix and dining.

can any tell me if we can make 180 plus 10 because we already have that reservation?

I have stayed at all the Epcot resorts.

For location, I prefer BW/BWV. It is more centrally located if you prefer to walk to Epcot/DHS, but it also has the boat dock right at the resort if you want to ride.

Second choice is YC. I like the fact that all the rooms have regular balconies/patios, unlike the standing balconies at BC. YC also has the boat dock conveniently located, but it is a bit far to walk to DHS from YC in my opinion (walking to Epcot is fine though).

Third choice would be BCV over BC because of the balcony issue. But BCV doesn't really have any good views. It's very easy to walk to Epcot, but the farthest from DHS. In fact, I usually walk to the Epcot boat dock to catch a boat to DHS instead of walking to YC.

BC would be my last choice. Don't get me wrong, I love BC and have had great stays there. I typically stay there if I'm spending a lot of time at Epcot (for F&G festival or F&W festival) or if my trip is a short one, but there's the whole standing balcony issue and until they decide to make full balconies a bookable category (I am sure someday they will) I don't want to spend a long trip without a balcony to sit on.

I am not a fan of public pools, so neither the "scary clown pool" or SAB have an impact on where I stay. If pools are important to you, then you would have to decide if one is more appealing than the other.

It's very simple to go from one resort to another for dining or shopping, so I wouldn't base your decision solely on where the restaurants are located.

family is worried about the buses at epcot resorts. we read that the buses are shared wth multiple resorts.

at $500 a night to stay at a resort we sure dont want transpo issues.

after all said and done, we decided to stay at WL inner courtyard.... we love it there and decided "what if we go someone else and not like as much".....

also after price increases, it kinda sealed the deal.....
