Wolfgang Pucks?

Hi there

Can someone please explain the difference between the WP places to eat? are they all TS so require tipping?

We're on the QSDP so were hoping we'd be able to visit as have read some great reviews.

I Know you experienced Dis'ers will know.

Basically there's Wolfgang Puck Express, Wolfgang Puck Express Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Wolfgang Puck Cafe- Upstairs. Confusing enough for you?

Wolfgang Puck Express and Wolfgang Express Cafe are both counter service. I believe Express Cafe is the only one on the QSDP but someone please jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.

I only know about 3 -- Wolfgang Puck Cafe (TS), WP Cafe upstairs (I think fancier, more $), and Wolfgang Puck Express?

The Wolfgang Puck Express is on the QSDP, and I have seen tons of pics on here. It looks SOO good!!!

I don't know about the others, but Wolfgang Pick Express is a QS location. It is the one near Earl of Sandwich, not over in Pleasure Island.

We really enjoyed our meal here last time. You do get a little of the experience of a TS meal, but without the TS. You order at a counter and are given a number to place at your table. When your food is ready, a waiter brings your food to you. You are not being "waited on" so you do not need to tip.

The food is very good and I know we'll definitely be going back!

We have always had great waiters and waitresses here so we always leave a tip. They have always refilled our drinks, brought us anything we wanted and brought the frozen yogurt after our meal. In December my dh commented that this we the best service we had at all of Disney even though we did eight sit down restaurants.

I agree. We had excellent service here on our trip earlier this month, and also left a tip for the waitress. Wasn't sure if we "had" to or not, but the server was delightful and definitely earned it.

We LOVED Wolfgang Puck Express and it will be a "must do" for a counter service credit on any future trips. Probably more than once!

wolfgang puck cafe (TS) was one of the worst meals i have ever had in or out of Disney. I have not eaten at the express but have heard good things.
