Has anyone gone to Wolfgang Pucks and used the dining plan? What do they allow? What is there a surcharge on? TIA

We have eaten many times at the first floor of WOlfgang Pucks. The food is wonderful!!! We have never been upstairs.

Went last month. If I remember correctly, the surcharge was on the sushi. We were allowed to order just about anthing on the menu. Since we don't eat sushi, we were delighted with all the choices available.

The WP CAFE is on the plan. Is that up or downstairs?
I'm excited about going in May on the DDP.
Menu looks great!

I am interested in the surcharge as well. We were thinking about the larger steak.

Wolfgang Puck Cafe is downstairs. The surcharge is any entree over $26.00. Dress code casual.

Do you mean there will be a surcharge if your entire bill (for one person) is over $26.00?

So if I ordered:
Crab cakes $14.95
wolf-fredo fettuccine $18.95
cheesecake $7.95
Drink $2.50? Total $44.35 before tax and tip
tax-$3.10
tip-$6.65

Total-$54.10-$26.00=$28.10

Total additional oop cost=$28.10?

Or is the surcharge on the entree only? :confused3

From what the CM told me when I made my ADR, the surcharge applies to any entree priced $27 or higher. In your above scenerio you would not have to pay the surcharge because your entree (wolf-fredo fettucine) is only $18.95. Now again, this is what a CM told me - an explaination from anyone who has actually been there would be appreciated! :)

I haven't eaten there but called both PH & WPC & was told any entree over $23 at PH & $26 at WPC. You would only pay the difference. If your entree at WPC was $29, you would pay an additional $3.00. So DisFanatik with your example you wouldn't pay anything extra.

Thanks for clearing this up for me. Has anyone heard anything about exclusions on the appy's? I really want to try the crab cakes and DD just loves calamari and they both are a bit expensive!

I have never read of any exclusions here but the DP isn't used or reviewed much on the boards for WPC

We just got back from eating there, we ate there on Thursday night. We ate downstairs, did not have an ADR. We were not surcharged for anything. DH & I both got appertizers, Wolf's ribeye (cant remember the price) and had a dessert and coke.......however, my son was on the child's dinning plan and they would not offer him an appertizer. Service was HORRIBLE!!!! Food was just ok. We would not go there again, just my opinion....

I just spoke with WPC and was told that they no longer charge any surcharges! I hope I got correct info! :cool1:

This is good to know & possibly a change from last year. I had called last summer.

Is it standard that rest. change their policies concerning the dinning plan ... do they have a list of their policies somewhere .. what is included what is not and what can be ordered for a surcharge ???
This is our first time on the dinning plan and there will be seven adults ... I have made our selections baced on the menues and I would be embarrassed if someone in my family were to order something and then be told that it was not covered ...

Good question. It still states on the brochure that some DTD may have additional surcharges. There weren't many changes from last years plan. The only obvious restrictions would be appetizers/desserts meant for 2 guests.

You may want to start a new thread & ask others who have used the plan.
