Ok here is my question. Have you ate at both wolfgang puck express marketplace and west side. I thought maybe they were the same but they have different menus. If you have ate at both, which do you prefer?

We always go to the WPE in the Marketplace. It has more seating and a larger menu.

Marketplace. They have a breakfast menu that is outstanding, and friendly staff.

Thanks! I will write this down. We will be at in downtown disney next monday so planning on eating lunch here.

1) Just remember, Wolfgang's isn't Wolfgang's.
2) Wolfie doesn't own them anymore.
3) They belong to Levy (same folks of Fulton's, Portobello, etc).
. . . Wolfie had Disney eateries
. . . then, he opened at Universal
. . . WDW said he violated the contract
. . . Wolfie had to sell off the WDW eateries
4) Thus, eating at Wolfgang's at DTD isn't eating at Wolfgang's.

I was not aware, Rusty! Learn something new every single day here. Thanks for posting this. ::yes::

It may not be "real" Wolfgang's any longer, but the French Toast at the Marketplace version is still, AWESOME.

(and being British, I hate the use of that word - so it must be good!)

Cheers Larry.

Would you know about when this happened? Did the food items and/or quality change? In 2011 we got the rosemary chicken sold at the Marketplace and would be disappointed to find it isn't the same version. Thanks RustyScupper all your Disney info! :thumbsup2

My info is that Marketplace is owned by Wolfgang Puck Worldwide, West Side by Levy's.

They are all listed on the Puck website so his company may have a consulting role.
All I know for sure is that we eat at WPE Markplace several times every trip and always enjoy our meals:thumbsup2

I think the point was that Wolfgang doesn't have anything to do with the Wolfgang Puck Worldwide Corporation. They paid him for his name, it's not his company anymore.

Huge difference between menus. Marketplace is much better/more extensive. Go there. And on the dining plan its a table service credit and an awesome deal.
