Disney does it again...
The man who created ROGER RABBIT for Disney has won the first round in an ongoing battle with studio executives after claiming they under-reported merchandise sales figures and cheated him out of a fortune.

Animator GARY WOLF's claims were upheld in Los Angeles Superior Court yesterday (27JUN05) and that could mean a windfall for him.

In his legal claims Wolf stated that Disney bosses underreported $2 million in sales of Roger Rabbit toys.

The 1988 film WHO FRAMED ROGER RABBIT? was based on Wolf's book, WHO CENSORED ROGER RABBIT? It made $150 million in the US alone and became the biggest film of the year.

Nope, I just meant that they lost another case in which they had tried under-represent the merchandise tie ins. I seem to recall several allegation of this sort, but I couldn't tell you how many went to trial.
