We returned from WDW last week and an unexpected hit of the trip was the WOL pavillion at Epcot. Our DD (6) really took to the pavillion and loved everything there (yes, even Making of Me. Yikes!).

The pavillion was sparkling clean and really a great place to spend time. Cranium Command still holds up, even though our DD didn't understand any of the "characters" that we knew (Hanz and Franz, Bobcait Goldthwait, etc.).

Sensory Funhouse was exciting for her and she was sad that the Goofy exercise bikes weren't working. Also, there weren't any shows at the Anatomical Theater there.

This could be a great pavillion again and, personally, offers a lot more than some of the other pavillions at Epcot. Hopefully, new sponsor will come by and provide some money to update the attractions and it will be open again on a future trip.

I always loved the WOL pavilion.. I'm so sad that I haven't been able to see it for so many years! I loved cranium command.. and no matter how bone jarring it was or how sick it made me I always rode body wars :thumbsup2

It would be nice if someone came along and sponsored it so that it could be up and running again.. or alteast do something with that space to add something new to FW. :thumbsup2

Our DD just LOVED Body Wars. My DW couldn't take it more than once, but DD and I rode multiple times.

Oh, I miss WOL also! I have only doen Cranium Command once or twice before, but I remember loving the ret of the hands on stuff when I was little. Here's my question, however- why does the pavillion need a sponsor to be up and running?? I mean the location is already there, and it'snot like every single attraction needs a sponsor right? Can't DISNEY be the sponsor?? We are in DIsney World after all right? Perhaps I am just "missing it", but it seems a shame to let that big location go to waste when all the "stuff" is still inside! Please enlighten me someone

I think that Disney is looking for a sponsor to infuse some cash into the upkeep of the pavillion. I could be wrong, though.

Oh I'm sure that's the case, but it seems like with all the price increases over the past few yeares that DIsney could kick in and sponsor WOL. I think kids would be very into it, and it would provide one more attraction for FW. Perhaps they could add a gift shop at the end to drum up some extra cash :rotfl2: Sorry, I just had to....

Just using the logic of how Disney is treating this pavilion, its evident that they simply don't WANT to "fund" it to keep it open.

Timekeeper was in a very similar situation at MK.
Disney just kept it "open seasonally" (which actually meant virtually never open) until they finally announced a new attraction for its space and, BANG, closed it fast.

I think WoL is on the way out. Sad.
