Disneyland opened it's ticket booths at 2:30 am this morning to start selling tickets to the crowd and they just announced a 3rd show was added for tonight at 11:15. ENJOY!

I can confirm the 3rd show, We had WCT reserved for tomorrow but walking by GRR and saw a bunch of Suits and a small line so I got in line and we have FP for the 11:15 show

Holy moly they opened up the ticket booths at 2:30AM!?!! :scared1: Crazy!

I wonder how the crowds are looking right now...has anyone started a crowd update?!? Would love to see how it looks!

Reports from other sites are that Disneyland is crowded, which would make sense in conjunction with a 3rd show being added.

Couldn't even begin to imagine how it will look when it gets closer to show time...goodness gracious!

I was at the Media Event last night and was told be CM's that people were there all day Friday trying to line up, even pitching a tent in the Esplanade (which management would not allow) I gotta be honest - I feel pretty lucky that I saw it (twice, because I'm very very lucky) before the big day, because I think its going to be C R A Z Y for quite some time. :)

BTW, It was even better the second time. No lie! (There is so much going on that the second time, I was able to focus on other effects)

The Fast passes for 11:15 show ran out at 1:30 this afternoon. That will give people some Idea of how early to get here for it tomorrow. I can almost guarantee that they will extend hours again and add another show. They are opening the booth again at 2:30 am to sell tickets to DCA.

Aside from anxiously awaiting feedback on the show, the lines, the meals, etc. :cool1: I am also very curious as to the effects WoC will have on the Fantasmic show. Usually it is impossible for us to get front section viewing because of our schedule. Hoping that with people heading over to see WoC this will be more manageable in July. Till then eagerly awaiting the news. popcorn:::surfweb:

Is this true? :worried:

No it was not true. I was at DCA today. At 11:15 nothing happened. At 11:30 the show started. The show is good, Fantasmic is better.

yes, it started at 11:30. There was the 15 min till show time annoucement at 11:15. Show started very promptly at 11:30 which goes very well with the times they had up of 9:00 and 10:15. So keeping that trend 11:30 is right. And yes it is not as good as Fantsmic. It lacks a cohesive storyline. Kinda like Soring. It just jumps from one scene to the next. Not a big deal, but I guess I expected more givin how much they spent on this. Please do not get me wrong, the show was amazing to watch, but if I am going to fights crowds for a show this summer it will be Fantasmic.

It was actually not that crowded. We were there the 10th-12th.

On friday, we got to Disneyland around 9:45. We went on Buzz 2x (10 min wait), Pirates (walk on), Haunted Mansion (10 minute wait) and splash (walk on) by about 11AM. We were able to eat at carnation cafe at 12:15 with no ADR.

We went to DCA at about 1:30PM. We did have a 40 minute wait for TSM. We went on GRR 2x (walk on both times)

We went back to DLH around 3:00 and went back to Disneyland at about 5:45.

We had dinner at pizza port and went on buzz and BTM. We found a seat on the curb for teh fireworks at about 8:15. It was still empty around the hub at that time. It didn't start filling up until between 8:45 and 9:00. Even when the fireworks started there was still room to move and space between people.

We went from the fireworks to Fantasmic and for the 10:30 fantasmic show, we were able to find a place to sit close to the middle at about 10PM. Even when fantasmic started, there were still places left to sit.

On saturday, we didn't get to DCA until about 10:15.
We went on soarin 2 x (walk on both times), TSM (35 min. wait) and saw Aladdin at 12:10PM.

We went to Disneyland after lunch around 2 PM. We went to Pirates Lair and than went to main street to get a seat for the parade. We were still able to sit on the curb at about 3:10 for the 3:30 parade.
After the parade we went on snow white (5 minute wait), pinnochio (10 min wait), and peter pan (20 minute wait).
We went to Cafe Orleans for dinner around 5:30 PM (no ADR and no wait). After dinner we left to drive home.

Overall, the longest wait we saw the entire time was 60 mins on friday for space mtn.
On saturday, the longest wait we saw was 45 minutes for TSM. We didn't see any waits over 40 minutes in Disneyland.

World of Color was insane but I don't think the overall attendance to the parks was impacted. I just think that it meant the fireworks and fanatsmic were much much less crowded
