WOC on Thursday

OK so I am gonna be at DCA on Thursday. I really want to see WOC. I have a 6 mo old (who will probably be sleeping) and a 3 yr old. Should I buy the picnics? Should I chance it on getting a FP? (we won't be in the park until about noon) I want to be able to get my stroller up to the railing. My gut tells me if I really want to see it I should get the picnics to be safe. On the other hand I really don't think its going to be that busy on a Thurs night right before Halloween Time. One last thing - is it gonna be a nightmare getting my double wide stroller out of there once the show is over?

I'm going either Thursday or Friday, and wondered about the crowds this week, since it's officially "off season". Do we need to get the meals, or will we be okay just to get the fast passes? The picnic food is not appealing to my palate-challenged family!

well it looks like the picnics are sold out You can't pre order online. Can I still call? Can I get them that day when there is only 1 showing?

You can't call for picnic, online only or buy the day of.

The FP with a picnic is the same you could get by getting on in the morning from the regular FP distribution. But no Reds only Yellow or Blue. I think you can buy one the day of starting at 11:30am.

The "day of" picnics are usually for the second show and there isn't one....I'm not sure if that is still an option. OPer, I've heard the FPs have been gone by around 11-12 now.

If you can't get to the park until noon, I'd definitely try to get a FP with a picnic. I've been there the past few days, on days with both one and two showings of WoC, and all of the FPs have gone (although the 10.30pm showing was still available around 7.30pm today I believe).

Although getting your stroller to the railing would probably be helpful, your children won't be able to see if they stay in the stroller, so I wouldn't worry about that too much if it doesn't happen. And I don't think getting your stroller out should be an issue - the crowd flows out pretty well, and a LOT of people have strollers, so you won't be alone!
