The picnics do not get you in the preferred dining section. They are just a way of getting a Fastpass without having to wait in line for them.

Disney marketing thinks of everything, don't they? Guess that's why they're Disney.

I still say to do either AG or WCT -- you get preferred seating and need to eat anyway. It's not that expensive and you can show up 5 minutes before and still have a great view.
