Is there a Holiday themed WOC in December?

Working on my dates for a three day, two night trip...
Can't decide between Tues, Wed, Thurs OR Wed, Thurs, Fri...

My first thought is the Tue to Thur. Which would you choose?

From the Parks Blog about Holiday Time:
At Disney California Adventure park, “World of Color – Season of Light” will dazzle with its holiday-themed spectacular of lights, lasers, water, fire and hundreds of fountains bringing animation to life. Festival of Holidays returns, bringing the spirit of the season to life through the sights, sounds and tastes of Christmas/Navidad, Hanukkah, Diwali, Kwanzaa and Three Kings Day (Jan. 3-6). For the residents of Cars Land, two attractions rely on holiday magic to transform into Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree.

Season of light and it’s amazing! Don’t miss it!

I don’t think your days matter. WOC is usually every night in December.

I know it will not make a difference for WOC since it usually runs each night.

I was thinking more of the overall volume of people in the parks for Tue - Thur or Wed - Fri.
Right now I can book either option. Just wondering what others thought might be the best choice.

I know there are no real slow days for the most part any more...
I have an AP and fly down often. So it's not a once in a life-time trip.

Since my trips are mostly SOLO I am having a little trouble deciding and wanted some opinions.

It would depend a little on when in December you are going. F! isn't presented nightly until closer to Christmas, so if you're going earlier in the month and wanted to see F!, then you'd need to include the Friday in your plan. Otherwise, I'd also probably aim for Tue-Thu because the crowds might be a smidgen lower, but it's also possible that given the AP blockouts that start to go into effect in mid-December, there might not be much difference between the two choices in dates.

Just here to say that I freaking love Season of Light and am going to need to watch it twice as much this year to make up for it being gone last year. :rotfl2:

Which part of December will you be there for? It might make a difference in terms of crowds. Did you check the blockout calendars?

I’ve seen every version of WoC. Probably seen the show over 100 times. Season of Light is my favorite version of WoC. I’m with you in wanting to watch it as much as possible this holiday season after it’s hiatus last year. The only version that might be better than it was the original one in the shows early days with the Troncore at the end.

Well I am all set!
With the airfare special Alaska has right now, I booked three trips.
October-Halloween time, December-Holiday time and a birthday trip end of January.
RT tickets PDX to SNA for $116 and an AP makes it all possible.

Fingers crossed there is another airfare special for early March and Dapper Days in April.

Thank you for your comments.

I think this is going to be us, too! DH was so bummed that we couldn't watch it last year. Ghirardelli sundaes and Season of Light -- here we come! Holiday Time can't come soon enough -- even though I still don't have our costumes planned for the OBB. Sigh...
