Since there are more people at DCA overall now than before, is it going to be harder to get a WoC FP. Should I be rethinking my strategy to get one via a dining deal?

I think there are more people there now, but in the AM, they will be focused on Carsland, at least for these first few months or even longer. I think more than anything, they'll be shooting over to Carsland and then worrying about WOC. I don't know what people who are concerned about both are doing, but hopefully you're thread will bring some feedback for those who have done it since Friday.

Basically through all my rambling, I *think* that while they will be gone faster and much earlier than they were before Friday, if you go early enough, you'll still have a chance.

But if you are worried, you might just consider dining or at the least, a picnic :)

I was originally going to do the picnic, but the reviews of the food and what you got for it were so lukewarm, that I changed my mind. It sounded like I would be fine just getting my FP.

I have PHs so I was planning on MM at DL the first day, then getting WoC around 11 am. Then we would do CA the 2nd day at RD, we don't have any EE privileges there.

If you want a top both experience for both Dinung and WOC, go to Carthay Circle. It's expensive, but completely worth it in my opinion. When they say you don't have to get there until 15 minutes before the show to get a great spot, they mean it there.

That being said, if you just want to see the show, on the 15th they added an 11:15 show, which they were still giving FPs for at 8:30 PM. On the 16th FPs were still available for the 10:15 show until at least 7 PM (possibly
Later, but that was the latest that we passed an area that indicated either way).

Thanks! Sounds like I can go with my plan of no dining then. I'd love to do Carthay Circle, but this was kind of a bonus trip, so we are on a little tighter budget than usual. Food is one way I'm cutting costs.

The 9 pm show has been running out by 11 am, but the 10:15 show hasn't run out until from 3 to 8. As long as you don't need to have the 9 pm show, you should be fine.
