Hi,

I have three questions about trying to get a viewing spot in the Wet Zone (Front Boardwalk) for WOC.

1. Is anyone who has a WOC Fastpass (Dining FP, Picnic FP, or "regular" FP) allowed to try to get a viewing spot on the front boardwalk?

2. Are the Guests with the Dining FPs allowed to enter the WOC viewing area before the Guests with the Picnic FPs or the "regular" WOC FPs?

3. Or do the three types of WOC FPs have the same "return" time for a show, and it's just depends on who gets in line the earliest?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. :yay:

TIA :earsboy:

If you want the wet zone, I think the picnic is the best bet, as that will likely give you a Blue or Yellow FP, and from everything I've read, the "wet" zones are considered part of those areas. Then you would get in line before your return time and cross your fingers. I THINK the return times are more or less the same, but I'm not sure it matters--you can't get into the Blue, Yellow, or Preferred Dining sections until they start letting in your section.

I believe your answer to 2 is no, they don't necessarily let the Preferred Dining people in earlier. But again, it doesn't really matter, as they won't let anyone else into that section before the Preferred Dining guests. (And I've never heard of them letting those guests onto the Boardwalk.)

Good luck!

Yea, I haven't heard of that either. When we did the preferred we had to wait with everyone else.

Here's someone's WOC experience, from another forum (Pretzel's Post):

Saturday, June 19 (9:00pm show)

10:00 am - Got WOC FP (at GRR FP machine)
6:30 pm - Got in line for WOC
7:00 pm - Guests started to enter WOC (the FP "return" time was 7:30 - 8:30)
7:02 pm - The Front Boardwalk (Wet Zone) was filled in less than 2 minutes

To get a Wet Zone spot, it looks like there are two big factors:

1. Arrive early! (Between 6:30 to 7:00pm -- for the 9:00pm show)
[Edited To Add: Some people recommend arriving as early as 6:30pm for a front-center viewing spot at a railing, and some recommend arriving at 7:00pm for a very good viewing spot.]

2. Have either a "Preferred" Dining FP, a Picnic FP (blue/yellow), or get lucky at the WOC FP Machine (blue/yellow). [Edited To Add: The Wet Zone ("front boardwalk") can be accessed with a blue, yellow, or red FP.]

Does this sound right, or is the Dining FP not an option for the Wet Zone? :earsboy:

Arrive at 6PM? Wow. I was planning on my family arriving at 7 for the 9'o'clock show in hopes of getting the wet zone, and I thought THAT was early. :scared:

This experience was very different than ours on 6/27. We had Yellow FP with picnic, arrived at the barricades just before 7, and entered the Yellow zone about 7:15. The center Wet Zone was full at the rail, but the area to the east, next to Blue, was empty. I don't think another family joined us int the area for at least 15 minutes! 3 members of our group were laying down until the pre- show.
On the other hand, the Blue Wet zone beside us was already packed when we arrived.
So it may depend on which color FP you get. -- Suzanne

I think the blue wet zone is smaller than the yellow. At least it seemed that way when we were there.

Has the WOC Viewing Area changed again?

The following was posted today at another forum:

As you can see there is no longer an "Orange Section" it is now called the "Blue Bridge" on your fastpass that's what is will now say instead of Orange. Also notice that the Preferred Dining is part of the blue section only for the 1st and second shows, after that it becomes all regular blue. The boardwalk areas have also changed as well, red boardwalk is now longer and the yellow boardwalk only takes up the exact center of the boardwalk area, this is from seeing the show last night and asking multiple CM's many questions haha :)

I went on 6/28 with the Picnic FP for the 10:15 p.m. show. I was in the blue section. They brought in the Dining FP's first, followed by the picnic FP's, and then the regular FP's. They opened the front boardwalk ("wet zone") for people wishing to go up there about 10 minutes before the show started. There was still plenty of room left in the "wet zone" even after that. Most of the people I saw head up there had some sort of FP. I don't know if this is the norm, but this is what happened the night I went.

So now im really confused(AGAIN) there is a yellow and blue fast pass, is there one for the red???, ifyou do the AG preffered dinning does it come with a blue/yellow, or is it in its own section??

Yes, in addition to the yellow FPs and blue FPs, the WOC FP machines will also give out red FPs. The map that's posted in #9 appears to be current. The Blue FPs can be used to stand inside the Blue Section or to stand on the Bridge.

If you do the AG preferred dining does it come with a blue/yellow, or is it in its own section??
Preferred Dining (AG or WCT) comes with a "Preferred Dining" FP and has its own section.

The Picnic boxes come with a blue FP or a yellow FP.
