WOC dining options

I am new to the WOC dining options and i dont know how it works. I read somewhere where Wine Country has a set price for WOC, what does this mean. I saw the menu for Cathay and trying to rationalize a $22 hamburger. Can someone please help me understand how the WOC packages work. I am going at the beginning of August and my 60 day is coming up this week. Thanks

Not up yet is the Carthay Circle WOC meal which is not a set meal. You simply order an entree and appitizer or dessert.

At WCT you pick your meal from several choices. Lunch was $30 and dinner was $40, I believe.

I'm still hung up on the $22 burger too! But I made reservations there for lunch in July. Probably won't do the WOC tickets this time though.

Yah I am NOT impressed how they are introducing the Carthay into the WOC dining. It is going to turn a lot of people off if they see the prices. I was considering going there for the WOC option in August when I go, but boy was I glad that I was sitting down when I saw that $22 hamburger on the menu, not including the fact that I would also have to pay for an expensive appetizer and or dessert along with that. A GREEN SALAD you guys was like $11. These are the cheap items on the menu too. If each person in my party was going to pay at the very least $40 for a WOC dinner, then we may as well just pay the $40 and have dinner at the Wine country knowing we wont have to pay much more then that. If Disney continues with this dining package for the WOC they need to come up with some more options. People wont be willing to pay the Carthay prices, and others will be turned off by the Menu at the Wine Country or get bored of it. It's too bad that they cant offer restaurants like the Blue Bayou into the midst of all this.

Yeah, we came to realize we like the spot behind the hydrant in the back better than trying to get the front railing in the preferred area. So we are going to just try for blue tickets this year.

If I try for the FP at the koisk, which color should I try to get and where is the best place to view WOC in that color. This is my first trip to DL so all of this FP for shows is new to me. Any help is greatly appreciated.
