Headed to the WOC dessert party 12/21. What is the current check in process? Looks like during the summer it switched to 2hrs before you can check in on the app and select a high or low table. What time should you arrive at the WOC pen to be led to the area? there are 6 of us...do they have tables for 6?

I can't answer all your questions (I'm not sure about a group of 6 - but I will tell you the tables/chairs are close enough that even sitting next to each other at 2 tables is plenty close!!). In Oct, we checked in through the app and then waited for a text to tell us they were ready to seat us. We got to the check-in area (outside Little Mermaid) at the recommended time and waited for the text. They seemed to sit groups of people in 3 or 4 'waves'. We watched them seat wave 1, then we got our text telling us they were ready for us, and we were seated in wave 2. I expect there's a strategy to how they seat folks to make it more efficient - but everyone was seated in plenty of time, and the servers came by quickly for drink orders and provided the food boxes. I can tell you the experience was a really good one - the show is amazing from that location.

There are no tables for 6, they seat 4. You will likely be seated at tables next to each other, with 4 at one table and 2 at the other.

I haven't done it since they switched to the mobile check in.

We had a party of 6 this summer. In a previous experience with 6, we were at 2 tables (one of 4 and the other with 2 from our party and 2 from another). This summer, however, we were placed at two high top tables pushed together and only our 6 sat there. I did check in right away at the 2 hour mark and the person seating us mentioned they assign tables by how soon you check in. Note that you must be in or near the park before they let you check in. Having to be in close proximity was a surprise to us and we were just lucky that our dinner in DTD finished right around 6 pm. I believe I checked in at about 6:05 or 6:10.

Also, we learned that they will not seat you until you can show that you received the text message that your group was being seated.

I think it could depend on if the show is sold out or not and the make-up of the other parties. Like if there were 2 parties of 5 they might "squeeze" them at one table. Meaning there are two less seats needed at another table. If they needed those two additional seats for a party of 2 they may not have done that.

I've done it twice. First time, I was solo and seated with a party of 2, leaving one chair empty. The second time, this past December, I was with my mom and we were seated with another party of 2.
