WOC and PTN-no reservations possible?

I just went on to book my reservations for World of Color on 9/9 but there are no times available. The last day available for reservations is 9/2. I also noticed that you can't make reservations for PTN either. Are they replacing WoC and PTN with something else? Maybe I missed something and don't know it. Sorry if the info has already been put out there!

The current version of WOC and PNT end on September 5th with the 60th celebration.

I was figuring that would be the case. Hopefully a replacement will be announced soon!

The Aladdin Oasis PTN package is available through 9/9 I believe, so I expect that PTN will continue through that week at least. I expect the BB package will open up at some point. I've been watching because we want to do BB/PTN on Tues 9/6

Do you guys really think PTN might go away? Between uncertainty about that and fireworks, I'm really having a hard time getting excited about planning a fall trip to DLR.

My guess is that either they haven't loaded them into the system yet or the schedule is in flux. I just did a quick look and I did find a PtN package (both Blue Bayou and Aladdin's Oasis) for 9/5 for a party of 2, but nothing after that. So it's possible that the PtN schedule is in flux and until they determine the actual show schedule, they won't let guests book the packages. I did find a reservation for a party of 2 at Carthay Circle for the WoC Dining Package on 9/9, so that seems like it's continuing. I would keep checking over the next few days to see if the system gets sorted out.

Aladdin's oasis PTN is definitely available on Tues 9/6. I have reservations on that day (in case Blue Bayou doesn't happen for some reason).

So, it could mean that they have less packages than normal or some other quirk with the system. I just went with the default time/party size (which I think was noon for 2) and nothing came up PtN at Aladdin's Oasis when I searched. So, this indicates to me that there are less packages available or the system might be just being finicky this morning (which I wouldn't put past the Disneyland website).

Hmm, yeah you're right. You can't book anything on 9/6 online anymore. I double checked my reservation just to make sure I wasn't imagining things, and it's definitely Tuesday 9/6, unless they made a mistake in allowing me to reserve...

I called Disney Dining. They confirmed that no, it's not a system flaw. They gave me the impression that something will be announced soon and to keep checking. I'm not sure what that means but I'm curious.

I've been trying to book WoC doing package for 8th Sep with no luck and Plaza Inn for 6th Sep which I was only able to do today as the last few days it was showing no availability

I'm sure it's just that they're figuring out the fall schedule, both closing times and entertainment schedules. They don't want to book packages until they know what time the entertainment will be. I seriously doubt either WOC or PtN will be gone, or even go to weekends only; they're wildly popular.
