WLV or BCV

I am planning a trip next May. We have only used our dvc points at WLV, our home resort. We thought it was very "magical"
because the resort itself is so impressive. My question is, would we feel the BCV are just as special? We are taking our good friends from New Zealand and I want to make sure the resort we stay in is very "magical" for them since this will probably be their only trip to Disney World.

Well I have stayed at both WLV and BCV. I find the WLV much more magical. The grand lobby of the WLV and the design of the place is much more unique to me then the BCV. I am sure people will disagree with me. It also seems much more private and less crowded. I have stayed twice at WLV and found it much quieter and more relaxing.

Agreed....The detailed themeing of VWL will be breath taking for a first timer. Of course, others will have their own opinion on this.
I don't think you can go wrong with any of them.

We stayed at wlv last May, and we really enjoyed it. We honeymooned a few years before at the wilderenss lodge, and we always enjoy going back there. The one thing that I would bring up is this. During the week in May, the hours at the MK close pretty early. We enjoyed a couple of nights just eating at artist point or watching the water pagent or hot tub or whatever. But Epcot and MGM are open later, and we found ourselves on the bus at the end of the day a lot. We realized that during off-season, we would prefer to stay during the week (when MK closes early) at one of the epcot area resorts, where we could just walk back after illuminations.
