WLV Lobby

What is in the WLV lobby? I can't remember what areas specific to the villas are in the lobby, is there an exercise room? A community room? I know there are some nice sitting areas and it is beautiful. I thought this might give a hint what will be off of the BC lobby.

There is the 'Iron Spike Room' which is a sitting area with a collection of memorabilia from Walts collection of trains. There is NO community hall at WLV like BWV. Howwever, over at the WL General Store there is a collection of movies on VHS tapes which can be rented free of charge to DVC members staying on points, like BWVs Community Hall. The Arcade at WL is NOT free to DVC members, as Community Hall at BWVs is. Downstairs there is an exercise room and sauna which is free to DVC members staying on points. There is also an outside deck off the Iron Spike room with rustic looking rocking chairs for relaxation.

The check in area is actually in the WL where the lobby is grand and busy.

In the VWL lobby is a bird cage with no birds and fire places with no fires. It is a nice area but the WL lobby is much nicer.

KNWVIKING is correct, I forgot about that area too. I will also add that in the WL lobby area there is a fireplace which has a fire, and lillte chairs for kids. I was told that they do have an evening story time for the kids who may come in their PJ's.

Oh boy, ya. It is pretty hard to compete with that spectacular WL lobby, our kids loved the stream. I know the WLV lobby doesn't come close, but was interested in what it did have, hoping that might provide a clue to the BC lobby, as well as to explain to interested persons when talking about WLV.

We were home for the first time in August. I am an early riser and really enjoyed going to the WLV lobby to hang out with a book. So very quiet. Seating all comfortable and inviting. Very pleasant. However I also used the Lodge lobby too, for people watching and for soaking up the many features it offers. In other words, you're in a win-win position when it comes to either lobby.
