WLV - Difference between Studio & 1 BDRM

I can't find information concerning the difference between Studio & 1 BDRM at the Wilderness Lodge Villas. Can anyone explain it to me? I've stayed at the Lodge itself, but never at the Villas.

The studio is like a nice hotel suite with a pull-out sofa for the 3rd and 4th person. It has a wet bar, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.

The 1 bedroom has a separate bedroom with the pull-out sofa in the living area. It has a full kitchen, and the bathroom has a whirlpool tub.

In all DVC's:

A studio will be a larger hotel room equiped with a kitchenette -- wet bar/sink,coffee maker, toaster,microwave, coffee cups and glassses, paper plates and utensils. It will have 1 queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed. Bathroom with tub/shower , toilet and vanity. Balcony/patio.

Note**OKW will have 2 queen beds in the studio rather than the 1 queen bed and pull-out sofa. This is the only DVC with this option in a studio.


A 1bdrm will have a full kitchen with all the ammenities, plates,utensils,glasses,mugs,wine glasses,pots,pans, the works. A living room w/pull-out sofa bed,dinning table,balcony/patio,Master bdrm with king size bed,master bathroom with jacuzzi tub,shower,toilet & vanity's,laundry room with washer & dryer (or laundry closet with stackable w/d).

Both a studio and a 1bdrm sleep 4 (or 5 if one person is a child under age 3 in a pak-n-play crib)

A 1BR gives you about twice the space...and also has two televisions...and a washer/dryer in the unit. The bathrooms are separated into one section with a vanity and whirlpool tub...and another section with a glass shower and extra sink. The toilet is in a separate space with a door.

Check out the floorplans (these are from SSR...but they are basically the same as the other DVC resorts...except OKW where the 1BR is even larger with a big balcony)
