W'list: How many can you be on?

We're trying to find a studio SOMEWHERE other than SSR (sorry SSR lovers...) for 12/1-12/4 and we're striking out all over. SSR is the only place that's got them right now.

How many w'lists can we be on? Our first preference is BWV but since we're owners at VWL, we can't call yet for that. We're w'listed at VWL and will probably be w'listed at BWV when I call in 2 weeks. Like, if VWL comes through FIRST, can we keep the BWV w'list in the hopes that it'll come through, even though we'd have a reservation elsewhere??

How does that work?

And I read on the board somewhere that MS was able to tell someone where they were on the w'list. When I asked MS about that they told me they had no access to that information.

You can be on as many wait lists as you would like. We had to change a trip from May to June recently and all that was avail was SSR and OKW. We booked SSR and wait listed for VWL, BWV and BCV. Last week the wait list for VWL came thru and when we called the wait lists for BWV and BCV were both still active, so we cancelled them. So, you should be able to stay on the BWV wait list even if VWL comes thru.

We had asked for automatic booking and they even automatically borrowed points for the reservation. We did tell them which contract to borrow from and they did it how we asked.

The only thing that was surprising for me was that the dinning plan that we had asked for at SSR did not go to the new VWL reservation, so we added it again!

WOW... I was told today that I could only waitlist 1 resort but multiple room types. I thought that I was told last week that I was W/L all resorts for 2bdrm Nov 21-22. But today I was told I could not be on multiple requests... Guess I will be calling again in the AM

I called last week to setup a waitlist and was told you can have 3 waitlist per existing reservation which is what I ended up doing. I am uncertain if it is different if you do not have an existing reservation as this was not asked nor was the information offered.

Hmmm. Either we are dealing with some new / untrained CMs again or the rules are changing. Wonder what's going on?
