I will be staying at the WL on my next trip. I have never stayed there, how is it?

Wonderful! It's the whole reason we bought DVC----some friends were staying at WL, we visited them, and fell in love!

Are you staying at WL or VWL? Big difference in room accommodations there!

But as for the property, it's kind of nice. Remote, laid back, a nice haven after a hectic day in the parks.

We seem to like it okay.

We just returned from WL.. not VWL and we fell in love.... can't wait to get back there to see it at Christmas time (hoping for next year... if not next year then Dec 2007 for sure!!!) It's so laid back with lots of nice paths to go walking on... pool is great (nice and quiet at 10pm too and both of my boys loved feeding the fish at the boat dock!

Haven't stay there yet but looking forward to it next year. Still waiting on VWL resale closing, they say week to 10 days.

WL, the lobby is great. The rooms are very small for a deluxe resort. Are you sure you are staying at WL or WLV that are part of DVC. Those rooms are larger. Either way you get to stay at one of the nicest resorts at WDW. The place looks much like some of the lodges out west at the National Parks but to tell you the truth, WL is more beautiful then the real things out west. Enjoy!

magicalmcwho: Yes would be an understatement for us. Thankfully our kids have had Halloween to focus on so starting Monday they will re-focus on the trip. It looks like you won't be far behind us. Have a great trip.

I will be staying at the VWL for 5 nights and the BC for 4 nights. Even with all of the bad publicity I have heard about the BC I will go at least one time. And trust me, if I am not happy, they won't be either!!
