WL Woodsview, Room recommendations?

We are returning to WL on the 24th and I'm wondering if anyone has experience with a woodsview room that had a great view? I'd love to try and get something beautiful, since I often wake at the crack of dawn while the family sleeps. I love to sit on the balcony and just enjoy the fact that I'm at WDW!

We had a woods view room that was awesome. Could see the CR, also watched Wishes many nights from our balcony. Unfortunately, I can't remember the room number....lol

I would suggest rooms 5032, 5030, 4032 or 4030 for a good view of the castle, wishes, the monorail and CR. We had room 5034 last Dec. and thought it was awesome. The only reason I don't recommend that room is because it was at the end of the section and the loading dock was visable. It didn't bother me, but others may not like that. We have stayed at the WL many times, mostly in courtyard view rooms, but this view was great for me. I do sit on the balcony often. We left our drapes open at night so we could se the castle.

For a great view of the Magic Kingdom & WISHES request North Wing 5th floor (if non-smoker) 6th floor (if smoker) overlooking the otter pond.

We booked a woodsview and were in 5001. I'm really not sure if it was an upgrade but the lake was staight ahead...to the left we watched fireworks and the right was the geyser. It was perfect.

Request: North Wing, 5th floor, overlooking the otter pond. This is what you can tell CRO and the Room assigner at WL will know what you want. This request should give you one of the rooms that Gary M listed these are the best woods view rooms. You shouldn't request specific room # because if that one room is already taken, then you would be out of luck.

I had this room on my last trip and it was FANTASTIC!!! You have a clear view of the castle, as well as Wishes, the monorail, the upper levels of the Contemporary and parts of the lagoon. The link below has pics of the room and the view. The other plus for this room is it is right near the elevators, although I found the room very quiet.
