WL - Woods View vs. Standard

Just a quickie question...

Is woods view at WL a "step up" from the standard view? The new code BAT gives me a rate of 147.18 inc tax. Online reservations (new specials) quote me 132.? inc tax for standard view. I already booked the woods view over the phone but don't really care if I have a standard view as we'll only be there 1 night. Thanks for any info...

We are here at the WLodge now, got a complimentary upgrade from standard to woods view, and the woods view seems more relaxing than the standard view would have been. We can turn out the room lights and sit out on the balcony in the relative dark (Contemporary lights shining from afar) and hear the tree frogs and other swamp animals sing

I think view to get really depends on if you think you'll be spending any time unwinding on the balcony.

Either way, you can't go wrong here-- this place is great

we went last year and got a woods view ONLY because the AAA rate for that was cheaper than the rate we could get for the standard room. It was ok, but I would NOT pay extra for it. JMHO!

Thanks for you responses. It is only $15 difference but I think I'll take it and use it for Mickey ice cream bars... We don't plan on being in the room except to sleep.
