Does anyone know the room #s of any rooms that have a view of the castle but also have a king bed? (Nit picky, huh?)

Rooms 5032 to 5012 and same number on the 6th floor. I don't know of any that have a King bed, you will need to ask CRO that question.

Hey FloridaCat, I will help you out on that one :)

5032 and 5030 are 2 queens (but most of the year they have the best view of the castle)

Not all rooms in that wing will have a view of MK because of the location/growth of the trees. The best place to see MK is on the concierge floor (since it is over the tree line)...

There are not King bed rooms that would have a direct view of the castle. On that side of the building the king beds that are woods view are on the ground floor... the higher king beds are courtyards... There is one king room over the Whispering Canyon that "might" be able to see a little bit of the castle, but it is also a Handicap accessible (so no bath tub...it has a roll in shower). I don't recall the exact room number but it is on the 6th floor and is the only king bed in the Lobby that faces MK (not including the Honeymoon Suites).

If you do not have a Woodsview room like Libertybelle mentioned, you can watch the FW at the big window where wing A & B intersect. The shutters will pull back. We watched them during our Sep. stay from there with a Security Gaurd.

My dd and I stayed in room 5030 in August 2002. Quite honestly you had to really stretch your neck toward 5032's balcony while you were on the balcony to get any type of view of the castle. You couldn't see it from the room, it was too far to the left. 5032 I'm sure has a great view. We could see the monorail and through the trees we could see CR.

If you don't like a lot of noise I wouldn't request these rooms. I was too concerned about having that castle view (which we really didn't have anyway)...and these rooms are right by the elevators. I heard everyone getting off the elevators talking and yelling down the halls way into the wee hours of the night. If you can sleep thru noise (wish I could) then that wouldn't be a concern to you.

We had a clear view of the otter pond of course, but didn't see any otters while we were there (I looked for them a lot).

If room 5032 is available and the castle view is real important I'd ask for that otherwise I know the next time we return I'd rather have a room all the way at the end of the hall just so it's a little quietier. BTW, there were 2 queens in our room.

We still love this resort and wouldn't hesitate staying here again:sunny:

That is to bad, you would be better down the hall. I am surprised by the view as we had 5028 this past July and DD thought it was the highlite of the room to watch the MK FW. There were people on your balcony and from thier ooo's and ahhh' we figured they were seeing it also. The elevator was no problem as we heard nothing and my DD is a very light sleeper. PD on your next trip to WL and I hope it is much better for you.

I was in Room 5014 in February and saw the fireworks great...no hall noise to really speak of..double beds though...Hope this helps
