We woke up at 6am, got ready, and went to the snack bar in the hotel. It opens at 6am but the grille does not open 'till 7am. We had a light breakfast then went to the boat to go to MK for EE.

We arrived at 7:40am and the park was open. We walked on to Space Mountain, Alien Encounter, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mt., Haunted Mansion, Legend of the Lion King, Pirates of the Car., and then went to Pecos Bills for an early lunch...11am. We did all of that by 11am!! Amazing. The food at Pecos Bills was actually very tasty. We then went back to the hotel, via boat, and took a two hour nap. Overall, MK was slow until about 10am then really started to fill up. This has been the only park to be even remotely busy on our trip.

After the nap we drove to Epcot and wandered around WS. I had a small glass of merlot at France (very good, but chilled too much) and my sister had crepes which she said was wonderful (she has been to France also). We then walked over to Norway and I had a Ringness beer and chatted with the very friendly Norwegian CM's at the beer stand. Every country seemed to have something going on... Mostly live music. Morocco (sp?) was very nice. After WS, we did Honey I Shrunk the Audience. That was a wonderful show. We then left to back to the hotel and get ready for dinner at California Grill.

California Grill was great (see review under restaurants). After dinner we went to Pleasure Island and did Adventurers Club, Comedy Club and took in the new year. The band is great (Frankie, and the West End Boys). They are usually here unless there is a special guest. The two clubs we went to were both fantastic and I highly recommend them. How funny!!!

We were back at the hotel at 1am and hit the sack.

Any questions?

Sounds like a perfect day. I have never been to Pleasure Island - usually too tired to try. Thanks for posting!

Another nice day!! I definitely agree with your sister about those crepes, they are awesome! :)

I wish I would have tried the crepes. I really messed up on this one. It really looked good but I was saving my appetite.

I want to note again to everyone who is reading that the parks were totally empty. It is really weird. The Orlando Sentinal had a front page article that said Disney was in trouble and needed tourism to step up or their stock was going to take pounding.

I am glad we were there to take advantage of the fewer crowds. I just wish the circumstances were different (for WHY the parks were not crowded).
