OK, here we go:

They gave me a min-fridge for my room that really smells bad :( I mean gross. I have been getting items out of it very quickly so it will not stink up the room. I may have to have them bring me another. I hate to be a "Problem Customer" though.

The shower in the room is pretty good. Not great and not bad. There was plenty of hot water at 9am. The pressure is a little low (booster pump might be on the next floor up) and the water volume is average. All in all, an average shower.

The maid showed up at 8am and woke me up. She came back and did the room between 2pm and 4pm. She did a good job.

I went to the airport to get my sister (what a pain). There is some construction on 417 between WDW and the Airport so it slows you down a little. Plus the two toll booths at $1 each x 2 because we came back starts to add up. It is hard to find parking at the airport due to all the spots they closed down because they are too close to the terminal building. I finally found one and made it to baggage claim and got my sister. About 45 minutes from WL to airport terminal after parking the car.

We made it to MGM by noon. We went on RRC and ToT twice each. I am not kidding about what I'm about to say: THERE ARE NO LINES AT ALL!!! We walked on to everything we wanted without waiting... AT ALL! Tower of Terror, walked on both times, no wait. Same with RRC (twice), Muppet Vision 3D, Star Tours and Little Mermaid. I have been down here a lot and I must say, It was a little spooky. It just did not feel right. It was nice, but strange. The only lines I saw were for the Indiana Jones show but that seats so many that I'm sure the line was just waiting for the next show to end. MGM has also done a little remodeling over the past year. The Turkey Leg stand by RRC & ToT has changed and now has better service and quicker. They added a big tall Mickey Sorcerer hat in the middle for the 100 year celebration. My favorite is still the Drill Rig they had here from the movie Armegeddon. Remember that thing? Anyway, we did everything we wanted and still had time for lunch in the 3.5 hours that we were here.

We took a couple hours to rest at the hotel then went and had a wonderful meal at the Flying Fish (spendy) and then took the Illuminations Cruise boat out to see the show. I'm not sure that the cruise boat is worth the money however. You can see the show actually better from the bridge overhead (between France and England). The nice part was stretching out and relaxing during the show. That was nice. Plus, we did not have to stake out any spots. I paid over $100 but because of these boards, another family and a single rider joined us and helped with the costs. Very nice family and a single gal from Pocatello. I met them all right here on the DIS so it was cool to meet them in person. They were all very nice people. Our boat captain was great also so we gave him a nice tip. All in All, it was a wonderful evening.

That is all for today, see ya tomorrow.

Glad your second day is going well, Montana! :) I remember the drill rig....my family and I LOVE the movie Armageddon! :)

That drill rig was very neat. I am in the Water/Oil/ and Gas drilling business so that kinda stuff is neat to me.

I forgot to mention that our meal at the Flying Fish was so good. My sister said it was the best meal she can remember. She lives in Manhattan and eats out almost every single nite (her husband is very well-to-do) so she has a little credibility here. I really enjoyed my Red Snapper and she had the Tuna Steak. I tried a bite of hers and I must say, it was better than my meal (although mine was Fantastic, really). We had a very nice bottle of wine with dinner ($100) and the meal itself ran $70 because we both ordered nice salads for starters (the salad does not come included, pretty standard for upper end eating establishments). Anyway, I just thought I would elaborate on the meal for everyone who is thinking about trying it. I believe my sister would rate it a 10 and I would rate it a 9. So there ya go.

For lunch on day 2 we ate at the Turkey Leg stand near ToT in MGM. I had a foot long hotdog that was about 18" long, not 12". It was tasty. It was even better with the cold Bud Lite that I used to wash it down ;) My sister ordered a salad from another stand nearby and then had a Mickey Bar ice cream. She really liked that also.

OK, I better finish up day 3 so I can write about it tonight.

Cya all later,

Glad you're still having a good time! Looking forward to reading Day 3 :)

What a great day! No lines at MGM, dinner at Flying Fish, and an Illuminations Cruise. Sounds just about perfect to me. :)

So sorry about your fridge. I hope in the future you can maybe stay in a villa, maybe even a 2 BR one. You should look into DVC. ;)

I was wondering about the water pressure so I'll have to remember that I don't want, uhm what floor?> :confused3

We did the Illuminations cruise too. I pretty much agree with you. Nice once.
