WL vs. AKL

Stayed at AKL and loved every minute of it. DD5 LOVED the bead activtiies and cookie decorating. Does the wilderness lodge provide similar activities for kids?

Every afternoon there are crafty type activities in the Child Care center. You can't leave your child, you stay and do the craft with them. There are also duck races. There might be others, but that's all I remember right now.

WL is a very fun resort for kids. My then 4.5 yo dd LOVED our stay. Plus, you are so close to FW for the campfire, movies, pony rides, and small petting zoo. WL has lots of bikes for rent too, including the family surray type.

My kids love WL! I have 3 kids ages 6, 4, and 2. Whispering Canyon is a very kid-oriented place, and the lobby is a fun place for them to explore. We've never done the crafts or used Cub's Den, but my kids had tons of fun just checking out the resort. We are staying at AKL on our next trip, and I hope they will love it as much as WL.
