WL to the Polynesian?

We are staying at the Polynesian for our Honeymoon in August, but would like to go "visit" the other MK resorts to get a feel for where we like for next time. I was thinking take the Monorail to the GF, then the Monorail to the CR, then the Boat from the CR to the WL. How do we get back to the Poly from the WL?

It would probably be easier to take the boat from MK instead of CR. If MK is still open when you want to return the either take the boat or bus back to MK and then take the monorail back to the Poly. If MK is closed then you will have to take a bus to an open park. Ideally the bus to Epcot since it stops at the GF and you could take the monorail back to the Poly.
