WL to GF

What's the easiest way to get to GF from WL? Boat to Contemporary then monorail to GF?
It will be our arrival day and we have dinner at 1900 Park Fare.
2 adults and 2 kids

Fastest way would be a cab. There are always several parked at WL. Or take the bus to MK and switch to the GF bus. If you take the monorail you will have to go through bag check at the Contemporary so factor that into your commute time

I think I'd take boat to MK and then boat to GF; you could also take bus to MK from WL and then boat to GF, but that would be more walking. Monorail from MK to GF for fun - but it might take longer all-in.

You can use Uber Xl with car seats or the Minnie Van. They have car seats.

uber xl only have 1 car seat.
I'd be ok with a minnie van but it's such a short distance it seems silly.
Think i'll take the boat to MK and then to GF.

For us, I would:

Take the WL boat to MK (you will go through security at the MK dock) then MK/GF/Poly boat to GF.

On the way back, take the Resort Monorail from GF to MK (it’s just one stop), then boat from MK to WL. You’ll go though security at the GF monorail station.

There are other options, but this is generally the most direct in terms of Disney transport options. And a quite pleasant journey (unless the weather is bad).

I’d have a plan B (such as Minnie Van) if running late or weather is a problem.

The cab ride is less than two miles actually it is 1.4 miles between the two resorts but if you want to be safe the long way would be the way to go.
