Does any bus regularly connect the two? We have dinner at Contemporary.

Sounds like a complicated transfer. If the smaller motor launches are running I don't know how they accommodate scooters. Perhaps a MinnieVan would be the easiest?

Oh, and there is a bus from WL to the MK. It stops at Fort Wilderness along the way so it's not particularly quick. It does give you a good view of the new construction at Reflections - or whatever that will be called.

One more comment about WL - if you have time stop at Geyser Point for a nice beverage and some good food while enjoying the view of the lake.

There is not. I think your best option is taking the bus to MK and walking/scooting to Contemporary. It's an easy sidewalk to navigate with a scooter.

The boat launches from WL to MK are usually the larger boats that have wheelchair/scooter access, so you could also go that route and drive over to Contemporary...the inter-resort boat transport from Contemporary/Wilderness Lodge/Campground is usually the smaller open boats, which I don't believe can handle scooters or wheelchairs (wheelchairs if the person can walk onto the boat and the chair can be folded and loaded on board would work) similar to baby carriages. Or the bus options remain...bussing to and from MK would still seem faster and easier than taking a bus to/from Contemporary and circling around (usually for most parks, Wilderness is the first stop, then Contemporary, then the park).

I am trying to remember, I "think" the Disney Springs bus did sometimes stop at the CR, but not all the time??? And on the way back from the CR to the WL you would have to go to DS first then back to the WL. Going to the MK and transferring there will probably be the best option, aside from a Minnie Van. I am in agreement on that!

I found out that worse case ECV scenario for resort boats is needing to wait a bit longer. At minimum they alternate between the accessible larger boat and small boat.

During the more peak times they usually choose to run only the larger boats. So maybe the afternoon is alternating but that evening they’re only using the larger boats.

I just did this tonight. When I got to the pier to go to the Contemporary the small boat radioed to the larger one on the WL/MK route. That boat made an extra stop at the Contemp. Just to let me off. It took a little time but it worked.
