WL to Beach Resort

we are staying at wilderness lodge but have a ps at cape may cafe for character breakfast. heard it's really good so we are going to take the bus to MGM then go to the boat docks there and take the boat directly to BC. our ps is at 10am..what time should we leave so we will be on time. also, we have a stoller for our baby that does fold but it is bulky (graco) will that be a problem for the bus? thanks! disneymouse

The stroller will not be a problem. You might want to give yourself about an hour to get to Cafe Cape May. The boat is not real fast and it stops at Swan/Dolphin before BC.

I have stayed at both resorts and the Cape May breakfast is wonderful!!!!

Here's what I would do: I would take a cab from WL to BC. After breakfast you can walk to Epcot (five minutes) and spend the afternoon at the World Showcase. Then take a bus from Epcot back to WL.

In reality, you will have to wait for a bus to MGM, then get on with the stroller, go to FW to pick up people, then go to MGM (a trek in itself), THEN you will have to walk from the bus stop to boat dock and wait for a boat (could take up to 20 minutes) and tehn stop at the Swan/Dolphin and FINALLY the BC. Throw the heat, crowds and baby into the mix and you have a very good reason for taking a cab!

thanks..now that you mention the heat with a baby in the mix a cab might be better! i certainly don't need a melt down on our trip!

Glad to help. A cab ride from WL to BC would be less than 10 minutes. Jusk ask at the WL when you check in about getting a cab.

We are making the opposite trek for a dinner at Whispering Canyon. We have decided to take the bus from the Dolphin to MK, and then take the boat from MK to the WL. We would have to have two car seats if we wanted to take a cab. Could you take the WL boat to MK and then catch the bus to the Beach Club?

We are eating at WL on our first night. If you are using a park pass that day, you could take the monorail to Epcot and then walk through the park to the Beach Club. That way you don't have to worry about folding the stroller up. If you're tired after walking through Epcot, you can take a short boat ride to BC.
