Ahhhh! :cheer2: The time has come to begin our semi-annual Disney vacation planning. We want to stay at WL our favorite resort. Because we want to stay longer than usual as my oldest DD is going on 15 we are planning on requesting a standard room to save on budget. My question is to all WL veterans, what standard room location would you suggest? I am intrigued by the rooms that over look the lobby. We are not ones to sit out on the balcony and look at the scenery so looking at rooftops is not the end of the world. Your input would be appreciated especially if you have stayed in a room over the lobby.

My daughter and I actually walked to the rocking chairs that overlook the lobby in the evenings. There is a little more noise from the WC below - but it is nice to sit and watch the fire and look for hidden mickies...I didnt see any!

I think you would enjoy the rooms that overlook the lobby. Those rocking chairs and little alcoves are nice to relax in and you can hear the movie music from the lobby very well. My own opinion, any room at the WL is wonderful. :cool1:

If you don't mind being over the loading/receiving area you can get a great view of the MK fireworks in the north wing.

The standard rooms off the lobby 4th floor, also will give you access to the fireplace on that floor. Plus access to the large viewing area over the Porte Cochere entrance roof. (Great Views)
