WL rooms and scooter

I thought of another question.

We will be staying at the WL. With my mom using a scooter, will we need to request a particular type of room. She can walk on her own, especially within the room, from the elevator, etc. But she will have to take the scooter with her in the evenings. Will the scooter fit through the regular room doors?

I haven't stayed in the WL hotel rooms, just the VWL rooms, but in general, you won't have a problem getting an ecv thru the doors of any of the WDW hotel rooms.
You might want to think about a handicapped accessible room though, for other reasons. Those rooms have raised seat toilets and grab bars in the bathroom, which might be useful.
